Werkend principe:

Roterende warmtewisselaar is samengesteld uit een alveolaat warmtewiel, behuizing, aandrijfsysteem en afdichtingsonderdelen. De uitlaat- en buitenlucht passeren de helft van het wiel afzonderlijk, wanneer het wiel draait, worden de warmte en het vocht uitgewisseld tussen de uitlaat- en buitenlucht. De efficiëntie van de energieterugwinning is tot 70% tot 90%.

Toepassingen:

Roterende warmtewisselaar kan worden ingebouwd in een luchtbehandelingsunit (AHU) als een hoofdonderdeel van de warmteterugwinningssectie. Meestal is een zijpaneel van de wisselaarbehuizing niet nodig, behalve dat de bypass is ingesteld in AHU.
